Stuffed fried Mushroom




Mushroom with Paneer and Cheese as stuffing sounds very inviting and quite innovative as per Avi when I served him Stuffed Fried Mushroom. Since mushroom is fried so it simply gets  dissolve in mouth. Outer layer is coated with freshly made bread crumbs which makes it very crunchy. I prepared it for our friends who visited us this weekend and they too liked it.


Recipe:
Cooking Time: 15-20 mins
Preparation Time: 10-15 mins

Ingredients:

Mushroom: 1 pack( medium size mushroom)
Oil for frying
Bread: 2-3 slice

For Stuffing

Paneer: 1/3 cup (Crumbled)
Cheese: 1/4 cup ( Grated)
Chilli flakes: 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves: 1 tbap
Onion: 1 tbsp (Finely chopped)
White pepper pwd: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

For Batter:

Maida/all purpose flour: 1/3 cup
Corn flour: 1/2 cup
Salt to taste

Method:


  • Clean and remove the steam of mushroom. Keep aside.
  • In a bowl combine the paneer, cheese, onion, chilli flakes, white pepper pwd, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well.


  • Put the bread slices in grinder until coarse texture to make bread crumb.
  • Prepare thick batter of corn flour, maida and salt with enough water. 


  • Stuff the paneer mixture in each mushrooms as shown in pic.
  • Dip each stuffed mushrooms in batter and make sure that they are coated evenly.
  • Roll them over bread crumbs.
  • Heat sufficient oil in kadai/pan and deep fry these mushroom.
  • Serve immediately with any sauces of your choice.


Note:
  • Can use store bought bread crumb.
  • The batter should be of thick consistency but not very thick.
