Flower Butter Cookies

Cookies are every one's favorite. Since my boy loves cookies so I usually prepare it at home. This Cookie recipe requires very few ingredients and easy to prepare and crunchiness of these cookies are awesome. Can prepare and store in air tight container for weeks.


Cooking Time: 15-18 mins
Preparation Time: 15 -20 mins

  • Maida/all purpose flour: 3/4 cup
  • Cornflour: 3 tbsp
  • Icing sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Butter: 100 grms
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence: 1 tsp


  • Mix the butter and icing sugar until the texture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the vanilla essence.
  • Sieve the maida/all purpose flour and cornflour. Keep aside.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Mix well.
  • Add the milk and mix well.

  • Transfer the mixture to piping bag.
  • Grease the baking tray.
  • Make the desired shape.
  • Pre heat the oven at 170 C and bake for 12-15 mins.
  • Cool on cooling rack.

  • Leave enough space between cookies ball as they will spread out.
  • To make a Chocolate butter cookies, replace the 2-3 tbsp all purpose flour with the cocoa pwd .
