Veg Hakka Noodles

Veg hakka noodles is an Indo-Chinese recipe. Truly speaking have not came across to anybody who does not like Chinese, i.e Indian-Chinese.


Cooking Time: 8-10mins
Preparation Time: 15-20 mins
Serve: 3-4


Noodles: 1 pck
Spring onions:1/4 cup(finely chopped)
Onion:1 small(sliced)
Julienned vegetables: 1& half cup (carrots, cabbage and capsicum)
Soya sauce:1 tsp
Red chilli sauce: 1 tsp
vinegar: 2 tsp
pepper pwd: 1/4 tsp(or as required)
salt to taste


  1. Boil noodles for 3 -4 mins or as per instruction given in pack. Make sure its not over cooked. Drain in cold water and add 1-2 tsp oill and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a large wok/pan and once the oil is real hot, add the spring onions and sliced onions and stir fry for 1 mt on high.
  3. Add vegetables one by one and fry each for a min. First add carrot then capsicum followed by cabbage. 
  4. Add salt, pepper pwd, soya sauce, red chilli sauce, vineger and mix well. Add the noodles and again mix  well. turn off heat
  5. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve hot.


Cook/fry veggies on  high heat.
Use oil generously.
