Eggless Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake is one of the dessert which is loved by all age group. For this chocolate cake I have used condensed milk and some other ingredients which are readily available at home.

Preparation Time: 10-12 mins
Baking Time: 30-35 mins

  • All purpose flour/ maida: 1& 1/4 cups
  • Cocoa powder: 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder: 1&1/2 tsp
  • Baking Soda: 1/2 tsp
  • Condensed milk: 3/4 cup
  • Butter: 4 tbsp( melted)
  • Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
  • Water: 5 tbsp


  • Sift all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl  and keep aside.

  • Combine the condensed milk, melted butter, vanilla essence and water. Mix well using whisk or hand blender.

  • Add the all purpose flour-cocoa mixture and mix well.
  • The batter should be of dropping consistency.

  • Pour the prepared cake batter in greased baking tray and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes or till done.
  • The cake is ready when it leaves the sides of the tray or the  toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean
  • When ready, remove from the oven, invert the tray over a cooling rack.


  • Baking time again differs from oven to oven, depends on the tin too...but I would suggest  you to check after 25 mins then proceed accordingly.
  • While inserting  toothpick to check , try checking in the center if its cooked completely or not.
