Pizza Pinwheels
Since everyone like Pizza, specially kids, so I thought to give it a twist and made bite size pinwheels. It taste fantastic and very good snack option for kids. These pinwheels can also be served as appetizers.
RECIPE:
Cooking Time: 15-20 mins
Preparation Time: 2 hr ( including rest time)
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour/Maida: 3/4 cups
- Active dry yeast: 1/2 tbsp
- Capsicum:1/4 cup(Chopped)
- Mushroom: 1/4 cup ( chopped)
- Grated cheese as required to cover the topping
Method:
- Boil the water and keep aside.
- Add milk, oil, sugar, salt to boiled water in wide vessel and mix well till sugar dissolves.
- Add yeast to the milk oil solution.
- Mix well and keep aside for 5-7 mins stirring occasionally
- Add the flour and make a dough.
- Cover the dough and keep for an hour or two in warm place.
- Roll the dough as shown in pic.
- Spread the pizza sauce and arrange the toppings.
- Spread the grated cheese till it covers topping.
- Roll from one end to another to make cylindrical shape (shown in pic) and cut into 1 ½ - 2 inch pieces.
- Preheat the oven for 180 degree Celsius and bake for 15- 20 mins or till the side turns golden brown .
Note:
- Dough should not be sticky, if so add little more flour.
- Make sure that rolled circle is not very thick, it should be of medium thickness.
