Palak Pakoda

Palak Pakoda is nutritious, crunchy and crisp tea time snack. It is delicious and easy to make. It is made my mixing chopped palak and gram flour.


Cooking Time: 20-25 mins
Preparation Time: 10-15 mins
Serve: 2-3


Palak/spinach: 1bunch(finely chopped)
Gram flour/besan: 1cup
Rice flour: 2 tbsp
Green chilli: 2 nos(chopped)
Cummin seed: 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Water as required


  1. Mix the palak, basen, rice flour, green chilli, cummin seed, salt and make a stiff batter.
  2. Heat oil in pan and drop little mixture of batter to form fritters. 
  3. Fry on medium heat till pakoda is golden brown.
