Veg Pizza


Earlier I use to make pizza at home using store bought pizza base, but last week I thought to prepare it from scratch. So was searching for the dough recipe to prepare base and found one here, and it really came out well. The softness of the base and the test of pizza was awesome.


RECIPE:

Cooking Time: 20-25 mins
Preparation Time: 2 hr( including rest time)


Ingredients:

All purpose flour/Maida: 1 & 1/2 cups
Active dry yeast: 1 tbsp
Milk: 1/4 cup
Water: 1/4 cup
Sugar: 1/2 tblsp
Salt: 3/4 tsp
Oil: 2 tbsp
Pizza Sauce: 1tbsp
Onion: 1/2 (Cut length wise)
Capsicum:1/2 (Cut length wise)
Paneer cubes: 6-8 nos
Grated cheese as required to cover the topping



             
Method:
  1. Boil the water and keep aside. 
  2. Now add milk, oil, sugar, salt to boiled water in wide vessel and mix well till sugar dissolves. 
  3. Now add yeast to the milk oil solution.
  4. Mix well and keep aside for 5-7 mins stirring occasionally   
  5. Now add the flour and make a dough.
  6. Covered the dough and keep for an hour or 2 in warm place.
  7. Now grease a baking and the dough on the tray.
  8. Now roll the dough a little thick as 1 to 1.5 inches and fold the ends. Prick the base with fork to make sure of even cooking.
  9. Spread the pizza sauce and arrange the toppings.
  10. Spread the grated cheese till it covers topping.
  11. Preheat the oven for 210 degree Celsius and bake for 15- 20 mins or till the base turns golden brown.

Note:
   You can grease a baking tray with aluminium foil, i.e wrap the surface of tray with aluminium      
    foil.
    Preferably use mozzarella cheese.
    The dough should not be sticky; if so then add in a little more flour.
