Methi Paratha

Methi Paratha is prepared using methi leaves where methi leaves are chopped and mixed with wheat flour.


Cooking Time: 20-25 mins

Preparation Time: 10-15 mins
Serve: 3-4


Wheat flour: 2 cups

Methi leaves: 1and half cup(washed and finely chopped)
Oil/ghee: 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil/ghee  for making paratha


  1. Mix wheat flour, methi leaves, salt and 2 tbsp oil/ghee together to make a soft dough. 
  2. Now make equal sized balls out of it and roll the balls into round shaped chapati with a rolling pin.
  3. Heat a tawa/griddle and and put the  paratha on it and cook for a minute.When bubbles start appearing, flip it over to the other side. 
  4. Apply oil/ghee on both sides and cook well.
  5. Serve hot with any gravy or raita
