Peas Paratha





Peas Paratha is a stuffed paratha where green peas are used as stuffing.It can be served with any gravy. I usually prepare it on weekends along with paneer gravy.


RECIPE:

Cooking Time: 20-25 mins
Preparation Time: 10-15 mins
Serve: 3-4



Ingredients:

For Dough:

Wheat flour: 2 cup
Salt: 1/4 tsp
Oil: 1 tsp

For Stuffing:

Peas: 1 and 1/2 cup
Green chilli: 1-2
Coriander leaves: 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Cumin seed: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil/ghee


Method:
  1. Mix wheat flour, salt and oil, then add water to make soft and smooth dough.
  2. Heat 1/2 tsp and add cumin seed, add peas once cumin seed start spluttering and cook for 1-2 mins.
  3. Grind green chilli and peas coarsely. Add salt and coriander leaves and mix well.
  4. Make equal size of ball from dough and peas stuffing.
  5. Roll the dough ball in thick circular shape and place stuffing at center.
  6. Cover the stuffing and roll it out with little dusting of flour.
  7. Cook on both the side until golden spot appears then apply little of oil/ghee.
