Cucumber Raita


Cucumber Raita is the simplest preparation and can be prepared in no time. It goes well with rice preparation.


RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 10-15 mins

Ingredients:
  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Cucumber:1 
  • Green chillies: 2 ( finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves: 3-4 springs ( finely chopped)
  • Roasted cumin pwd: 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli pwd: 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat Masala: 1/6
  • Salt to taste

Method:


  • Peel and grate  the cucumber. Keep aside.
  • Take curd in big bowl and whisk till gate smooth consistency.
  • Add the roasted cumin pwd, red chilli pwd, chaat masala and salt to curd. Mix well.


  • Add the grated cucumber and chopped coriander leaves, mix well.
  • Serve chilled.


Note: 
  • Use thick yogurt. It should not be sour.
  • Can add chopped green chilli.
