Eggless TuttiFrutti Cake

When one of my friend called me up and tell that she cant find the Tutti Frutti cake recipe on my site then suddenly I realize that I've forgotten to post that which I supposed to post before going on vacation... This recipe was in draft from more then 3 weeks. Since my vacation is over and I'm back so lets start the amazingrasoi's journey with something sweet..

Cooking Time: 35-40 mins
Preparation Time: 10-12 mins


  • All purpose flour: 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Curd: 1 cup
  • Tutti frutti: 1/3 cup
  • Sugar: 3/4 cup
  • Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
  • Baking pwd: 1 and 1/4 tsp
  • Oil: 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence: 1 tsp


  • Preheat oven to 200 C for 10 mins. Grease and flour the baking tray.
  • Cream the sugar and yogurt/curd until the sugar is completely dissolved. 

  • Add baking powder and baking soda and mix well. Keep aside for 4-5 mins and you will find that bubbles appear.
  • Now add vegetable oil and vanilla essence and mix well. 

  • Now slowly add little portion of flour/maida  at a time and blend with the wet ingredients. Beat well until creamy.
  • Add the tutti frutti and mix. Transfer this cake mix to greased baking tray.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 200 degree C for 10 mins, reduce temperature to 175 and bake for 25-30 mins or till a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool the cake for 15-20 mins and then invert in plate.

  • Use fine grain sugar.
  • Can grind the sugar before mixing.
