Hara bhara kabab


Hara Bhara Kabab is a veg kabab, which is mainly served as appetizer. It is prepared with boiled potato, spinach and green peas. This kabab is healthy and mouth watering.



RECIPE:

Cooking Time: 10-15 mins
Preparation Time: 20-30 mins
Serve: 3-4

Ingredient:

Spinach/palak: 8-10 leaves
Green peas: 2/3 cup(boiled and mashed)
Potato: 3 medium( boiled and mashed)
Cashew: 10-12nos(broken)
Chilli pwd: 1/4 tsp
Chat masala pwd: 1/2 tsp
Cumin pwd: 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp
Cornflour: 2-3 tbsp
Oil for deep frying


Method:

  1. Finely chopped the spinach and blanch in sufficient water for 5-6 mins.
  2. Drain and transfer in cold water.
  3. Again drain and squeeze excess water.
  4. Mix spinach, peas, potato, chilli pwd, chat masala, cumin pwd, coriender leaves and salt.
  5. Add cornflour to bind the mixture.
  6. Now divide the mixture in equal size tikki.
  7. Place cashew in center of tikki.
  8. Heat oil in pan/kadai and deep fry all tikki.

Note:

    You can also shallow fry the kabab on griddle or bake in oven.
